US/Latin America: Lifestyle hospitality group Ennismore is expanding its presence in the Americas with a series of hotel signings in Mexico and the United States.
Four of its brands – Delano, Hyde, The Hoxton, and Mama Shelter – will enter the Mexican market for the first time, with projects confirmed in Los Cabos and Mexico City.
Mama Shelter Mexico City will open in late 2025 with 100 rooms and a focus on informal dining and cultural programming.
Also in Mexico City, Hyde will launch later this year on Avenue Paseo de la Reforma, featuring 215 rooms, dining venues, and event facilities. The Hoxton is set to follow in 2028 with an 80-room property.
Delano East Cape, scheduled to open in 2029, will include 117 rooms and 60 branded residences on a 100-metre beachfront in Los Cabos, alongside five restaurants, a spa, and wellness spaces.
On the western coast of Mexico, Hyde Mazatlan is due to open in 2027 with 172 rooms and suites.
In Miami, Ennismore has added Balfour Miami Beach to its Morgans Originals collection. Located in the South of Fifth area, the restored Art Deco property features 82 rooms, a rooftop pool, and dining concepts including Cleo and SoFi Coffee.

Delano Miami Beach is expected to reopen in late 2025 following major renovations. The reimagined property will feature 171 rooms and suites, wellness facilities, and a collection of new restaurants alongside the return of the Rose Bar.
The group is also growing its presence in the branded residences sector, with more than 45 projects underway in 20 countries. One such project is Mondrian Residences Hallandale Beach, a 26-storey tower near Miami with 250 condominiums and amenities including a pool, tennis court, and fitness facilities.
Ennismore is continuing its move into the all-inclusive segment with six resorts in Mexico (located in Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel, Cancun, Acapulco, and Ixtapa) set to join the group through a proposed partnership with Royal Holiday Group. Three of the properties will be rebranded under Rixos.
The company also recently entered the Jamaican market in collaboration with LCH Development Limited, with plans for a luxury hotel and residences.
Phil Zrihen, head of Americas for Ennismore, said: “From hotels and resorts, to branded residences, restaurants and bars, the Americas represent a strong growth market for Ennismore. These new signings represent a significant acceleration of our presence in the region, and as the fastest growing lifestyle and leisure company, Ennismore is perfectly positioned to bring authentic lifestyle experiences, curated through creative storytelling, innovative design, destination-led culinary experiences, and dynamic programming to new destinations and guests in the coming years.”
