The 264-room hotel, owned by Blue Manchester Hotel Limited, is expected to undergo a full rebranding by 2027, while continuing to operate as it is until then.
This development strengthens IHG’s position as a key player in the UK and Ireland market, where the company currently operates 363 hotels and has 33 in development. The addition of InterContinental Manchester – Deansgate further expands IHG’s luxury portfolio, which already includes four InterContinental properties in the region, such as InterContinental London – The O2 and InterContinental Edinburgh The George.
Located in the Beetham Tower, the hotel will offer a range of amenities tailored for both leisure and business guests. The hotel will feature 264 guest rooms with views of the city skyline, a large ground-floor bar and restaurant, an indoor pool, fitness facilities, and 18 meeting rooms with a total event space of 1,821 square feet.
