Michelle McArdle brings over 15 years of experience in revenue management and commercial strategy. She joins Aimbridge from Marriott International, where she served as Director of Market Strategy, overseeing the revenue management function for a cluster of nine hotels in Scotland and Northeast England.

“I am excited to be joining Aimbridge in a role that aligns so naturally with the progression of my career,” said Michelle.
“Having led the revenue management function while working closely with sales, marketing, and digital teams, I’ve developed a holistic view of commercial strategy and how these disciplines must work in harmony to drive performance.
“I’m particularly drawn to the company’s values around continuous improvement and teamwork, which mirror my own leadership style. This role represents the next logical step in my career – allowing me to take full ownership of the commercial function, lead cross-functional teams, and contribute to strategic growth at a broader level. I’m excited about the opportunity to bring my experience andenergy to a company that’s shaping the future of hospitality.” – Michelle McArdle, Commercial Director at Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA

Edward Holland, with more than 25 years of experience, most recently served as senior general manager at Holiday Inn Coventry and has held multiple general manager positions across the UK.

“I am thrilled to be joining Aimbridge EMEA in what is a very exciting step in my career,” said Edward, adding: “The opportunity to join a management company with values and aspirations that match my own is something I couldn’t pass up. The autonomy to drive the performance of the hotels by ensuring general managers have everything they need to deliver the best results possible is a key factor that attracted me to this role.
“The company’s core value of ‘think like a guest, act like an owner’ really resonates with me and is becoming increasingly important in how we operate hotels in today’s world.” – Edward Holland, Director of Operations and Quality at Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA

These appointments follow Aimbridge EMEA’s recent hire of Kym Kapadia as Senior Vice President Commercial, as well as the appointment of Craig S. Smith and Steve Joyce as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman respectively and reflect the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its commercial and operational capabilities.

“It’s a very exciting time for Aimbridge EMEA, as we welcome such high-level industry talent to our team. Both Michelle and Edward boast outstanding industry experience and expertise, with proven track records of delivering operational efficiency and delivering revenue growth. I’m looking forward to their support as we move forward with Aimbridge’s strategic plans to grow our national and international presence and drive superior performance for our hotels through innovative commercial and operational initiatives.” – David Anderson, President of Aimbridge EMEA
