Omni Las Colinas Hotel has completed a $33-million renovation, finalizing a two-phase project that began with a $13-million upgrade of public areas and amenities. The latest $20-million phase includes a full redesign of all 421 guestrooms and the Las Colinas Ballroom.
“This renovation marks a defining moment for Omni Las Colinas as we continue to evolve with our community,” said Anthony Buttafuoco, general manager. “By revitalizing every guestroom and suite, we’ve elevated the entire guest experience while remaining true to the spirit of Las Colinas. This transformation is a reflection of our long-term investment in this neighborhood and our role as a lifestyle destination in the heart of Irving.”
Located on Lake Carolyn, the hotel now offers redesigned rooms with warm tones, natural wood, dusty blues, and curated artwork. Original green marble bathrooms in the Governor and Presidential Suites have been retained.
“Our goal was to design spaces that feel both grounded and elevated, where guests can connect with the cultural identity of Las Colinas while experiencing modern comfort,” said Lindsey Nelson, senior interior designer at Omni Hotels & Resorts. “We were especially inspired by the idea of contrast: wide-open landscapes brought into refined interior moments, rugged history interpreted through elegant materials. The color palette, furnishings, and finishes all reflect that duality, capturing a spirit that’s distinctly Texan, yet unexpectedly serene.”
The earlier phase of renovation added The Lakehouse Waterfront Lounge & Pool Deck with fire pits, daybeds, cabanas and a 10,700-square-foot outdoor lawn. Three dining venues also debuted: LRH Restaurant & Bar, Flossie’s, and Over the Counter. LRH serves Texas-style cuisine in a modern setting. Flossie’s, named for original landowner Flossie Carpenter, offers breakfast and brunch. Over the Counter is Omni’s first gourmet market with espresso drinks and snacks.
The Governor’s Suite includes a marble fireplace, dining area for eight, an office alcove, a private balcony, and the preserved green marble bathroom. The Presidential Suite features a pool table, piano, multiple seating areas, a marble bathroom, and skyline views.
