The 89-key property will offer 33 suites, 56 guestrooms, and 10 exclusive residences. The design, led by Italian architectural firms RPA and De Vita & Schulze, will incorporate contemporary interiors by French design house Liaigre.

Concerning the amenities, the hotel will feature two restaurants serving local Tuscan cuisine and Japanese sushi omakase, a rooftop bar, a subterranean speakeasy, and the signature Capella Living Room. Additionally, the hotel will include a 600-square-meter Capella Spa, fitness center, and an indoor amphitheater.
Capella Florence is the brand’s first property in Europe and part of its strategy to expand into culturally significant destinations. The property is designed to highlight the site’s long history while offering modern amenities and experiences for guests.
