The Hoxton Edinburgh brings a blend of classic and contemporary design, with nods to the historic architecture of the area, while incorporating modern amenities and thoughtful touches.
The property features 214 rooms across two buildings, including three of The Hoxton’s newest room category, House, which provides self-contained homes for larger groups. The design of the rooms maintains the building’s Georgian charm, with preserved features such as cornicing and impressive sash windows.
Patatino, the hotel’s Italian-inspired restaurant, adds a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere to the property, serving hearty Italian dishes with local Scottish ingredients. The hotel also supports local causes through collaborations with Scotland’s youth homelessness charity, Rock Trust, by adding an optional donation to food and drink bills.
For meetings and events, The Hoxton offers versatile spaces such as The Get Together, a large ballroom-style area that can host up to 250 guests. There’s also The Apartment, a more intimate space comprising four rooms, ideal for private dinners or smaller gatherings.
The Hoxton is continuing its global expansion with new properties across Europe. Scheduled to open in 2027, Ennismore is set to bring The Hoxton to Oslo, marking the brand’s entry into the Nordic region and its first property in Norway. The Hoxton is also expanding in Austria, with a new hotel slated to open in Vienna. These additions are part of Ennismore’s broader strategy to grow its portfolio with over 20 hotel openings and 35 new restaurants and bars in 2025, further solidifying The Hoxton’s position as a key player in the lifestyle hospitality sector.
The Hoxton Edinburgh is situated near Haymarket station and offers easy access to key landmarks such as Murrayfield Stadium and Arthur’s Seat. The property also promotes a connection to the local community by showcasing emerging artists in its Hox Gallery and partnering with local independent brands in its Best Of shop.
