UK: The Grade II-listed Royal Bell in Bromley will reopen this autumn following a multi-year restoration, transformed into a mixed-use hotel, club, and coworking space.
The project has been led by South London-based investor group The BELLE Collective with the restoration of the interiors curated by Hampton Design Studio.
Set across five floors, the venue dates back to 1666 and was redesigned in 1898 by architect Ernest Newton.
It offer 14 boutique rooms alongside a range of amenities including a bar and grill, a pizzeria and café developed with chef Aldo Zilli, a courtyard garden with a bar, and an event venue called The Royal Hall.
A suite of members-only spaces and services will also launch at The Royal Bell, including a members bar and terrace, the library for screenings and private dining, coworking lounges, a sports bar and social space called The Clubhouse, a fitness studio, and a multi-use boardroom.
Membership tiers start at £110 per month with options including day passes and a limited under-30 membership.
Mark Goldberg, co-owner of The Royal Bell, said: “This venue holds deep historic and cultural significance. We’re proud to restore it with care and vision, creating a place where heritage and modern hospitality can thrive together. We did this not because it made sense on paper, but because it meant something real to us and the people of Bromley.”
The BELLE Collective is led by Goldberg alongside Jon Yantin and Nick Gold. Yantin most recently supported the European launch of Virgin Hotels and the launch of Sircle Collection’s first London and UK operations. He will be responsible for the operations of The Royal Bell.
Gold was one of the founding partners of China White, The Hippodrome Casino Leicester Square and The Box Soho. He acts as strategic advisor to The BELLE Collective.
