The hotel, previously operating as the Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten, is undergoing an 18-month renovation process. The newly refurbished Clayton Hotel will feature a range of amenities, including a restaurant, bar, meeting and events center, sauna, steam room, and gym.
The property is strategically located on Straße des 17. Juni, close to major attractions such as the Brandenburg Gate, Kurfürstendamm, and the Berlin Zoological Garden. The property will be part of the Tiergarten Tower development, a mixed-use project combining office and hotel spaces.
“We are very excited to announce our first hotel in Berlin, a leading global travel destination and a key strategic location in our European expansion strategy. Situated close to numerous leisure and business hubs, the fully refurbished hotel will be ideally positioned to benefit from Berlin’s rich mix of cultural, historical, sporting, and business events and attractions. We value deeply our partnerships, and we look forward to expanding our footprint in Germany and continuing our strong relationship with Deka”. – Shane Casserly, Deputy CEO of Dalata Hotel Group commented
In addition to its prime location, the hotel will adhere to sustainability standards, including BREEAM Very Good certification and energy-efficient technologies, such as modern air handling units and low-energy systems.
With a 25-year lease agreement with Deka Immobilien, Dalata is set to further strengthen its market position in Germany, capitalizing on the city’s growing tourism and business opportunities.
