Arlo Williamsburg welcomes Mark O’Brien as GM

Arlo Hotels has appointed Mark O’Brien as general manager of Arlo Williamsburg.

A New York resident with over 20 years of industry experience, some of O’Brien’s past roles include serving as general manager at The Maritime Hotel and Shinola Hotel in Detroit, and most recently as managing director for the Ace Hotels in New York and Brooklyn.

“Mark is a dynamic leader whose passion for hospitality and commitment to team development make him a crucial addition to the Arlo family,” said Jimmy Suh, president of Arlo Hotels. “We are confident that under his leadership, Arlo Williamsburg will thrive and continue to be a lively destination for visitors and locals alike.”

“I’m honored to be joining Arlo Williamsburg and to have the opportunity to work with such a passionate team that’s focused on creating a sense of community through unparalleled service and commitment to authenticity,” said O’Brien. “I look forward to continuing Arlo Hotels’ tradition of experience-driven hospitality in the heart of Williamsburg.”

Arlo Williamsburg is located in North Brooklyn and was formerly known as The Williamsburg Hotel. The eight-story boutique hotel features 147 guest rooms and eight suites.
