A new stage for Mama Shelter in Switzerland
Mama Shelter Zurich will be the group’s 19th hotel, marking its arrival in Switzerland. Located in the booming Oerlikon district, the hotel will offer an experience combining hotel space and living space, accessible to locals and travelers alike.

Design inspired by Swiss culture
The design of Mama Shelter Zurich is inspired by Swiss culture and Alpine landscapes, incorporating elements of modernism and Swiss craftsmanship.
Benjamin El Doghaïli, head of the Mama Shelter design studio, explains, “Imagining the decor of Mama Zurich could not be done without thinking of Switzerland, its culture and its mountains.” The hotel’s interior blends warm materials, bright colors and playful references to Swiss traditions.
Versatile spaces for work and leisure
Mama Shelter Zurich is not just a hotel, it’s also a place dedicated to work and relaxation. With several meeting rooms, studios and event spaces ranging from 16 to 260 square meters, the hotel will offer flexible environments for work, conferences and creative activities.

A convivial place around the table
The hotel’s dining options include Mama’s Restaurant, featuring an open kitchen and a variety of dishes, including wood-fired pizzas. The restaurant will also offer Sunday brunch, a big trend on the F&B scene.
In addition, the green rooftop, “Mama’s Garden”, will offer guests a panoramic view of Zurich, welcoming them from sunrise to sunset.
This new opening is part of the brand’s ambitious development plans across the EMEA region, following the recent opening of Mama Shelter Dubai and preceding the inaugurations of Mama Shelter Toulon and a fourth address in the Paris region, close to Disneyland Paris.
