Following the success of the Motel One at Porte Dorée, this new property brings the brand’s signature design and comfort to the heart of one of Paris’s vibrant districts.

“We have a very strong partnership and transparent communication with Paris, our landlord. This close collaboration allows us to support each other significantly, ensuring that the hotel runs in the best possible way
We’re in all the exhibition parks, so Paris is the owner of all the exhibition parks, which is going to help us enormously in terms of occupancy.” – Matilde Conejo-Mir, Cluster Manager at Motel One Paris

Located near the Porte de Versailles exhibition center, this hotel is strategically positioned to attract both business and leisure travelers, providing easy access to Parisian landmarks.

The 347-room hotel blends contemporary elegance with urban style. Guests will find a space that reflects the city’s architectural heritage, with a clear influence from the Art Deco style. Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by a unique design, highlighted by the works of French street artist Charles Levalet, whose black-and-white illustrations bring a special note to the reception area.

In addition to its  appeal, the hotel is equipped with several functional amenities. One of these features is the hotel’s rooftop terrace, which offers views of Paris, along with a  bar where guests can enjoy a drink while taking in the city’s skyline. The ‘Skybar’ on the seventh floor complements the space, providing a relaxed environment with panoramic vistas of the city.

The hotel also caters to business guests with three modular meeting rooms located on the ground floor. These rooms, which accommodate up to 12 people, are designed to provide an intimate and functional setting for business events and meetings.

Furthermore, the hotel’s lounge area captures the essence of Paris with its stylish décor, featuring French furniture designers and subtle nods to Parisian life. This versatile space doubles as a relaxation area and a co-working space for digital nomads.

An important element of this hotel is also the emphasis on the sustainability. This happens with the use of green electricity, the offer of natural soaps and shower gels free from microplastics, and the utilize of refillable dispensers to reduce waste.

« Sustainability is a top priority for us, and our CSR policy reflects this commitment. We focus on continuous improvement, ensuring that our hotels are always in a state of renewal. We believe that a hotel should always appear as though it’s only six months old. This means that when you visit after six months, it should feel like you’re stepping into a brand new hotel. This philosophy applies not only to what guests experience directly but also to every behind-the-scenes operation.
We have a wide range of internal procedures in place focused on sustainability, such as recycling and education. Our goal is to ensure that everything we use, from household products to our practices, aligns with our commitment to cleanliness and sustainability.
Regarding air conditioning, we follow green key aspect to ensure sustainability. The air conditioning systems are set to maintain a maximum of 22°C. In the winter, the systems heat the rooms to a maximum of 22°C, and in the summer, they cool the rooms to the same temperature. This aligns with the green key certification, which mandates these energy-efficient standards. » – Matilde Conejo-Mir, Cluster Manager Motel One Paris

Guests can start their day with a balanced and sustainable breakfast, featuring organic and locally sourced products.

Motel One is also continuing its expansion across France with a significant presence in Paris. The brand’s first French hotel, located at Porte Dorée, opened its doors in 2018, marking the beginning of its strategy to establish a foothold in key French cities.

In addition to this, Motel One has also set its sights on Nice, with plans to open a new property in 2027.

‘We’ll be one of the first, to be in Nice ahead for partnerships with exhibitions, but also with visitors, we’ll still be with great visibility.’ – Matilde Conejo-Mir, Cluster Manager at Motel One Paris

With regard to the brand’s strategy, Matilde Conejo-Mir also emphasised that Motel One’s overall strategy is to develop its international clientele More than half of the hotels are in Germany, around fifty in all, but the other half are abroad, in 14 countries. The brand’s overall strategy is therefore to continue to expand internationally.

Furthermore, Motel One engages in various social initiatives, including recruitment efforts for young people, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. The company participates in open days and trade fairs to provide insights into the different roles in the hotel industry and support workforce inclusion.

We regularly host open days for young people to introduce them to the variety of roles in the hotel industry. Many people are unaware of the different jobs and operations that take place behind the scenes in our sector. During these open days, we offer insights into all the different professions within the industry.
We participate in several specialized trade fairs, including a unique festival organized by France Travail. This festival aims to support the integration of people into the workforce, not just those with visible or invisible disabilities, but also individuals who may face discrimination for physical reasons or who are distanced from employment opportunities.- Matilde Conejo-Mir, Cluster Manager at Motel One Paris

The opening of Motel One Paris-Porte de Versailles strengthens the brand’s footprint in Paris, complementing its existing property at Porte Dorée. With its prime location, stylish accommodations, and commitment to sustainability, this new addition is set to be a preferred choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and eco-consciousness in Paris.
