North African destinations are the front-runners for affordable all-inclusive getaways this summer, according to new research by loveholidays.

The online travel agent recently published its ‘Recharge Report’, which analysed pricing data for last-minute, all-inclusive package holidays this summer, uncovering the destinations cost-savvy holidaymakers should be setting their sights on.

Diving into those offering more for less, Tunisia tops the list for couples, offering the lowest prices on average. It’s good news for those wanting to add a little luxury to their next getaway, as the destination’s average cost of £123pppn is based on a seven-night flight and five five-star, all-inclusive hotel packages.

Fellow North African destinations Morocco and Egypt also feature prominently in the ranking of budget-friendly breaks for couples, with packages averaging at £138pppn and £143pppn, respectively.

Morocco is crowned the most affordable all-inclusive destination for families, with packages priced at £81pppn on average across all star ratings, while Tunisia follows closely behind at £88pppn on average.

All-inclusive holidays to North Africa are gaining popularity with families and couples alike as they offer a unique mix of adventure and relaxation. Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt all offer short flight times from the UK, making air travel with young children seamless and stress-free.

On landing, holidaymakers are warmly welcomed by pleasant temperatures and sandy beaches, with various excursions and family-friendly activities in abundance.

Albania and Bulgaria also feature in the top five low-cost, all-inclusive destinations for couples this summer, averaging at £142pppn and £151pppn respectively.

The Canary Islands, mainland Spain and Bulgaria complete the ranking of affordable destinations for family getaways, with each offering various all-inclusive options complete with kids’ clubs, waterparks and entertainment.

Commenting on the analysis, Al Murray, Chief Marketing Officer at loveholidays, said: “For many holidaymakers, value for money is a top priority when planning their next trip, which is why all-inclusive holidays are fast-becoming the go-to choice.

“North African destinations like Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt offer a huge range of affordable, great quality all-inclusive resorts, making them a top choice for cost-conscious couples and families alike this summer.”
