Tourism Innovation Summit (TIS) returns for its sixth edition at FIBES Seville, on 22-24 October.

Under the theme “Innovation in motion, tourism reimagined”, over 8,000 professionals will explore the trends and solutions shaping the industry: from the tech revolution driven by artificial intelligence, robotics, and augmented reality to a complete redesign of the traveler experience.

This edition will also see the expansion of the Tourism Innovation Global Summit, the flagship congress for discovering the new dynamics reshaping global tourism.

With a more ambitious programme, over 400 national and international experts will speak across five simultaneous auditoriums.

The agenda will be divided into eight sector-specific forums, addressing today’s challenges across destinations, hospitality, transportation, distribution channels, MICE, business travel, leisure, and culture.

Across three days, key industry players and leading companies will reflect on how digitalisation, hyper-personalisation, and connectivity are transforming tourism into a more efficient, predictive, and sustainable industry.

Among the headline speakers are global experts such as Alessandro Petazzi, CEO of Lastminute.com; Andrea d’Amico, CEO of WeRoad; Tina O’Dwyer, CEO of The Tourism Space; Dan Christian, CEO and Founder of Acceleration Team; and Damien Corchia, COO of Decathlon Travel.

Joining them will be representatives from major industry players including global hotel groups like Accor, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG); experiential and vacation tourism firms such as Exoticca and MarSenses Hotels & Homes; fast-growing hotel chains like DeLuna Hotels and SmartRental; and key players in distribution such as Grupo Avasa.

One of the key themes of the Tourism Innovation Global Summit will be how digitalisation is redefining travel, leadership, tourism product distribution, and business models.

The event will provide a practical, innovation-driven perspective that addresses real challenges faced by today’s tourism companies.

The summit will also spotlight sustainability as a cross-cutting pillar — not only to minimise environmental impact but to drive structural change through circular and regenerative models.

Through practical case studies, TIS experts will demonstrate how climate change adaptation, decarbonisation, and responsible resource management are becoming central to the strategic agendas of destinations and tourism businesses.

Attendees will also learn about social and economic impact tourism initiatives that represent long-term strategies for coexistence between travellers and locals and economic opportunities for regions.

Another major discussion point will be the profile of the new traveller — more conscious, diverse, connected, and demanding.

Topics such as accessible tourism, transformative experiences, talent management, and new business models will round out the agenda of this global event that once again positions Seville as the world capital of tourism innovation.

TIS2025 will also feature an exhibition area where more than 200 companies will showcase cutting-edge technology solutions in artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, cloud, 5G connectivity, augmented and virtual reality, and automation. Talent recognition and the promotion of new projects will also play a central role, with events like the Tourism Innovation Awards and the Touristech Startup Fest, both designed to spotlight disruptive initiatives and foster new partnerships between startups and established companies.

South Korea will be the guest country at TIS2025. Seville will welcome a large delegation from the Asian nation to explore first-hand a tourism model that integrates innovation and technology, positioning South Korea as a global benchmark.

Through case studies and disruptive marketing and communication campaigns, ties between Europe and South Korea will be strengthened to uncover opportunities for attracting Korean tourists and to gain insights into the country’s tourism vision to foster business growth.

Registration is now open.
