American Express announced a culinary overhaul of all 15 of its Centurion airport lounges across the United States, in cities including Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York City, and more.
The credit card company is launching a new curated dining experience inside the lounges for card carrying members called The Culinary Collective, which features menu items from Resy chefs Kwame Onwuachi (Tatiana), Michael Solomonov (Zahav), Mashama Bailey (The Grey), and Sarah Grueneberg (Monteverde).
New menu items were available starting July 29 at all of the Centurion lounges and select dishes will be featured at the smaller Sidecar by Centurion lounge, opening at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport in 2026.
“With help from our Resy chef partners, we’ve brought together a group of some of the most exciting culinary minds in America to create incredible menus, available all in one place for the first time ever,” Audrey Hendley, president of American Express Travel, said in a statement. “You’d be lucky to make it to each of their celebrated restaurants across the country, but now visitors to our Centurion Lounges will be able sample dishes created by these chefs.”
The Centurion Lounge menus are inspired by each of the four chef’s popular dishes at their own restaurants, including Onwuachi’s Suya Short Ribs (made with the Nigerian peanut-based spice rub), Bailey’s paprika chicken, Solomonov’s pomegranate glazed salmon topped with tabbouleh, and Grueneberg’s vegan lemon orzo with artichokes and dill.
Cocktails for the lounges will be curated by Harrison Ginsberg, director of Overstory Bar in New York, and will feature his signature “elevated, imaginative cocktail” crafting style.
The dishes from the Culinary Collective will be changed seasonally and will make up about half of the menu at each lounge, with the other half of the menu devoted to locally inspired cuisine as a nod to each lounge’s home city.
