Rocco Forte Hotels has announced it will open its second Milan property, The Carlton Milan, on 6 November this year.
The 71-room hotel, set between Via Senato and Via della Spiga in the city’s fashion district, will be the group’s 16th property worldwide. Reservations are open by telephone and email, with online bookings due to begin on 2 September.
Interiors have been designed by Philip Vergeylen and Paolo Moschino with Rocco Forte Hotels’ director of design, Lady Olga Polizzi.
The hotel will feature a restaurant, cocktail bar and inner garden, led by chef Fulvio Pierangelini.
Facilities will include the Irene Forte Spa, with treatment rooms, wet areas, a relaxation lounge, a fitness centre and a hair and beauty salon.
The company said the property would offer “bespoke experiences” reflecting Milan’s cultural and design heritage.
