The Pontchartrain Hotel in New Orleans has appointed Nickolas Thomas as its new general manager, who brings more than 20 years of experience in hotel operations and guest service to his new role.
“I’m thrilled to join The Pontchartrain Hotel team and bring my deep experience working with hotels across New Orleans to this iconic Garden District property,” said Thomas. “I look forward to continuing to deliver top-notch guest experiences while celebrating and honoring the storied history that makes this hotel a beloved favorite for locals and travelers alike.”
Before joining The Pontchartrain Hotel, Thomas served as director of rooms at the Hyatt Centric French Quarter in New Orleans. Some of his previous experiences include leadership roles at Sleep Inn Slidell, Hyatt Place Convention Center and Windsor Court Hotel.
