Vision Hospitality Group has opened the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown, a $60-million hotel development that adds a significant property to the city’s riverfront district.

The seven-story hotel brings 184 suites to downtown Chattanooga. It is designed to serve both business and leisure travelers and includes a rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking the Tennessee River and Tennessee Aquarium. A street-level restaurant will also front Broad Street.

Both venues will be open to hotel guests and the public. Vision has partnered with SquareOne Holdings to manage food and beverage operations at the hotel. SquareOne will also develop and operate the rooftop restaurant and bar. Details on the restaurant concepts and opening dates will be announced later.

The property also features a lobby bar, an indoor pool and 3,000 square feet of meeting space for corporate gatherings, weddings and social events.

“This hotel represents our long-standing commitment to our hometown of Chattanooga and our belief in its continued growth,” said Mitch I. Patel, founder and CEO, Vision Hospitality Group. “We’re proud to open our doors and create a special space that connects people to the heart of Chattanooga’s riverfront district.”

The opening marks the 15th hotel for Vision Hospitality Group in the Chattanooga market. The company has operated in the region for years and has expanded its presence with multiple developments. The new Embassy Suites is among the largest private investments in downtown Chattanooga in more than a decade.

The addition of the property is expected to contribute to local tourism and commerce while generating new jobs. The investment aligns with Vision’s strategy of developing properties in growing urban and regional markets.

The Embassy Suites also reflects the company’s collaboration with national and local partners. Hilton’s Embassy Suites brand is positioned to bring recognition to the project while SquareOne Holdings provides operational support for dining concepts that aim to draw both residents and visitors.

Vision Hospitality Group now owns and operates 44 hotels across the United States. The portfolio includes properties in major Southeastern markets as well as other regions nationwide. The company is based in Chattanooga, where it continues to anchor its operations while expanding nationally.

The development highlights Vision’s approach of balancing local investments with broader growth. The new hotel represents a continuation of the company’s focus on urban and lifestyle-oriented projects that complement city centers and regional markets.

The project underscores Chattanooga’s position as a market for new hotel development, supported by the city’s riverfront attractions, downtown business activity and tourism demand. The Embassy Suites adds new capacity in a district that draws both leisure travelers and business visitors.

The opening strengthens Vision Hospitality Group’s presence in its home market while contributing to Chattanooga’s economic base. The company has been a consistent developer in the area, with the Embassy Suites serving as the latest example of its role in shaping the region’s hospitality landscape.
