Palladium Hotel Group has launched three new projects in Playa d’en Bossa as part of a €90m (£77.7m) investment to strengthen the area’s status as a high-end destination in Ibiza.

The developments include two hotels and a retail and cultural venue, all expected to be fully operational by the end of 2026.

Due to open next season, the Site Hotel Ibiza will offer what the group described as a “soulful yet contemporary interpretation of luxury”. It will feature high-end gastronomy, art and entertainment, alongside interiors and culinary concepts aimed at “the discerning traveller with a curious spirit”.

Also under the Palladium banner, the Unexpected Ibiza Hotel opened in April following a full refurbishment. The 181-room site includes the first Hell’s Kitchen restaurant in Europe, a collaboration with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants.

The group said the hotel reimagines luxury as “bold and highly personalised experiences” and was inspired by the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, a neighbouring property known for its live music and club events.

In June, Grupo Empresas Matutes – owner of Palladium Hotel Group – opened Ibiza Gallery, a 4,800 m² venue housing 20 high-end fashion boutiques, an art gallery and multiple restaurants.

The space includes outlets from Jil Sander, Missoni, The Attico and Roberto Cavalli, alongside a rotating calendar of pop-ups and exhibitions. Its Cardi Gallery space is intended to showcase contemporary art from international artists.

Palladium said the projects were designed to reinforce Playa d’en Bossa’s position as a “benchmark for luxury tourism”, while contributing to economic growth on the island.
