
Siari, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve has appointed Guillermo Varela as general manager.
Varela will oversee all operations for the resort’s 86 keys, including a five-bedroom presidential suite and the Ritz-Carlton Residences, featuring 34 turnkey four- and five-bedroom ocean view residences.
Varela brings more than 15 years of international leadership experience to his new role. Previously, he spent six years with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in various leadership roles, most recently as managing director for one of its hotels in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Before that, he spent two years with Aman. Currently, Varela serves as a tourism advisor for the government of San Miguel de Allende.

Located within the 800-acre private community of Nauka between the Sierra Madre mountains and the Pacific Ocean in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, the property will join the Ritz-Carlton Reserve portfolio in winter 2025.
