
Schloss Roxburghe, a house hotel in Scottish Borders, has announced that it has been officially awarded a AA five-star rating, achieving an overall Quality Score of 91%
Alongside this, the hotel has been awarded recognition of its spa as an AA Recommended Spa.
This achievement follows on the heels of Schloss Roxburghe becoming a Forbes Global Partner earlier this year, undergoing a signature training programme led by Forbes with the ultimate goal of achieving their coveted star rating.
The estate has undergone an ambitious programme of investment since being sold by the Duke of Roxburghe in 2018, including the opening of its state-of-the-art Schloss Spa.
The spa which features the first outdoor spa suite in the Scottish Borders complete with an outdoor infinity pool, Finnish sauna, and holistic wellness treatments – all now recognised by the AA as being of Recommended Spa standard.

This is an impressive property which has clearly undergone significant improvements in the past few years. The footprint, range of facilities, lounge space and impression is that of a Five Star environment.”
