The Printing House Nashville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton has opened in the city’s South Bank neighborhood. The 187-room hotel pays tribute to Nashville’s printing heritage with mid-century influences, locally inspired food and beverage and an emphasis on authentic guest experiences. Located at Third Avenue and Peabody Street, the property sits close to Honky Tonk Highway, Printer’s Alley and the Ryman Auditorium.

“We are thrilled to bring The Printing House to Nashville, a city with such a deep and celebrated history in the arts,” said Gayle Wilkinson, general manager of The Printing House.”The hotel is our tribute to the city’s printing history, which was instrumental in the stamping of songbooks eventually converging with artists who made the Music City what it is today. Starting with the exterior of the hotel featuring textured stamping patterns to our elegant lobby and best in city patio, overlooking the Cumberland River and Downtown, this hotel will contribute to the continuing history of Nashville.”

The design features textured concrete on the exterior and a block “P” logo inspired by letterpress fonts. Inside, materials such as rattan, walnut and brass highlight the mid-century character while communal spaces are designed to encourage connection. The hotel includes a café, a central lounge with a floating fireplace and a rooftop terrace with views of the skyline. A rooftop stage will host live musicians, “Writer’s Rounds” and songwriting sessions.

“The Printing House is a perfect addition to the Tapestry Collection by Hilton portfolio,” said Elizabeth Scruggs, brand leader, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. “Hilton recognizes that more guests are seeking hotels with an independent spirit, and The Printing House’s vibrant story, rich design and on-property offerings that are uniquely Nashville delivers exactly the stay they are seeking.”

The hotel has earned LEED certification, making it the second property in Nashville to receive the designation. Guest rooms include twelve deluxe suites and a private floor that can be combined into a seven-bedroom suite with a living room lounge. Rooms feature custom millwork, LED mirrors in bathrooms, dedicated lounge areas and minibars stocked with local items.

Dining options include The Letterpress Lounge & Terrace, a fifth-floor restaurant and cocktail bar with views of downtown.
