Supercity Aparthotels has opened a new property in Leeds city centre, following the conversion of a Grade II-listed building on The Headrow into a 63-suite aparthotel.
The Jubilee, which welcomed its first guests this week, is designed for business travellers, weekend visitors and longer stays. It includes studio and one-bedroom suites, all equipped with kitchens and living areas. Some suites feature air conditioning and step-free access.
The opening adds to Supercity’s portfolio of properties in London, Manchester, Brighton and Edinburgh, with another site in York due later this year.
Roger Walters, chairman of Supercity Aparthotels, said: “Leeds has always been on our radar – it’s a vibrant, creative city with so much going on. The Jubilee is our way of creating a space that feels rooted in the local area, while delivering the comfort, style and independence that guests have come to expect from Supercity.”
The company said the property blends original period features such as high ceilings and large windows with modern interiors. It is located close to the city’s retail, cultural and business districts.
