Aimed at helping carriers access new markets

Partners of airline growth platform, GO7, can now activate reciprocal interlining with more than 300 carriers worldwide via its W2-coded carrier, FLEXFLIGHT.

The announcement comes as FLEXFLIGHT joins IATA’s Multilateral Interline Traffic Agreement (MITA), a globally recognised framework that simplifies interline cooperation between airlines and enables them to settle under familiar IATA terms.

With MITA in place, airlines seeking to interline with WorldTicket by GO7’s sub-hosted partners will only need to sign a one-page MITA concurrence and subsequently activate the MITA partnership via the IATA portal – skipping lengthy bilateral contracts and gaining access to 190+ markets worldwide.

Peer Winter, chief development officer of GO7, said: “Interlining used to involve months of contract negotiations and guesswork. FLEXFLIGHT’s MITA status now empowers carriers to connect to our sub-hosted partner airlines with ease, turning our W2 model into a dependable gateway for reciprocal partnerships, resulting in improved load factors.

“By enabling two-way interlining across the WorldTicket ecosystem, we’re helping our partner carriers access new markets, offer seamless travel itineraries, and convert more demand into real incremental revenue.”

FLEXFLIGHT serves as GO7’s W2-coded carrier within the WorldTicket by GO7 distribution ecosystem. Its participation in MITA follows the successful attainment of IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certification and full IATA membership – two crucial prerequisites that demonstrate the standards required for interline cooperation under IATA terms.
