Leeds Castle in Kent has opened its latest family accommodation, Knights’ Retreat, a collection of eight themed lodges set within the castle’s 500-acre estate.
Open year-round, the lodges are designed to “capture the imagination of both children and adults”, drawing inspiration from mythical creatures such as the Basilisk, Minotaur and Gryphon.
Each lodge accommodates four to five guests and is equipped with an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge space, a bathroom suite, Wi-Fi, smart TV, and outdoor seating. Two lodges are fully accessible.
Additionally, guests staying at Knights’ Retreat enjoy complimentary access to the castle and grounds, including the Maze and Grotto, Birds of Prey Centre, play areas and the new 1930s immersive audio tour, Invitation to Decadence.
A spokesperson from Leeds Castle said: “Knights’ Retreat adds to Leeds Castle’s range of accommodation options, offering a base for families to explore one of Kent’s best-known heritage attractions. Dining is also available on site at The Castle View Restaurant, serving lunch, dinner and cream teas daily.
“To mark the launch, Leeds Castle is offering up to 20% off stays booked by 30 September 2025. Discounts apply to selected midweek stays until 11 December 2025 and to longer two- or three-night breaks, including Saturdays, until 7 December 2025.”
