Radisson Hotel Group has opened Radisson Red London Twickenham, the first property under the Radisson Red brand to be located at a sports stadium.
Following a major refurbishment, the 150-room hotel is situated on the south side of Allianz Stadium, home of England Rugby, and forms part of the wider stadium offer, which includes the World Rugby Museum, Twickenham Experience Conference and Events and the TW2 Health and Fitness Club.
Guest rooms feature “bold” design with sporting references, with the Rose and Legend Suites inspired by rugby heritage.
Each room includes “vibrant” interiors, artwork, wireless charging and Chromecast technology.
Meanwhile, The Huddle Restaurant provides all-day dining, from Neapolitan pizza to a “Guinness Afternoon Tea” alongside British classics, while The Loft on the mezzanine level serves as a flexible space for socialising and events, accommodating up to 200 guests.
Visitors also have access to TW2 Health and Fitness Club, which offers a gym, sauna and swimming pool.
Sandeep Kaushik, general manager at Radisson RED London Twickenham, said: “It is a monumental moment to open the first Radisson RED property at a sports stadium, and to bring a fresh and exciting energy to Twickenham and the surrounding area.”
Adela Cristea, chief development officer for the UK, Ireland and Nordics at Radisson Hotel Group, added: “Bringing the Radisson RED brand to such an iconic sports stadium is a significant milestone. We’re proud to partner with the Rugby Football Union and Aimbridge on this project.”

Anthony Mundy, executive director of venue at Allianz Stadium, concluded: “The refurbishment pays thoughtful homage to rugby in numerous design touches, food and beverage options and restaurant and suite destinations. We know the hotel is a huge asset to the area and look forward to sharing it with visitors.”
