Three of the UK’s Hilton Garden Inn hotels have undergone a major bedroom refurbishment programme across sites in Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow.

Overseen by Valor Hospitality, the bedroom transformations have included design concepts inspired by each of the city’s industrial heritage, with new carpets, headboards and artwork.

At Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham City Centre, the hotel’s 238 bedrooms have been refreshed with industrial finishes, including new vertical lighting and metal work as a nod to Birmingham’s industrial history.

Meanwhile, work at Hilton Garden Inn Bristol City Centre has included a full decor re-design of 171 bedrooms with “bold”architectural features, reflecting the city’s maritime heritage.

Finally, Hilton Garden Inn Glasgow has undergone a re-design of 164 bedrooms inspired by the city’s shipbuilding legacy, incorporating “rich blue tones”.

Each project was designed by ABDA Design, and has used sustainable measures to minimise the hotels’ impact on the environment, with original furniture retained, refreshed and re-designed to reduce waste.

Brian McCarthy, president of Valor Hospitality UK and Europe, said: “Investment in hotel refurbishments is important to ensure we continue to deliver high quality experiences for guests, but it’s also an opportunity to bring in the unique character of the amazing cities we serve.

“These new designs pay tribute to the rich history and heritage of Bristol, Birmingham and Glasgow, blending contemporary comfort with thoughtful, locally inspired details. The result is an elevation of guest experience that tells a story, offering authentic and memorable stays.”
