UK: Regent Hotels & Resorts, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle global portfolio, is continuing its international expansion with a pipeline of openings planned through 2026 and beyond.
Regent will launch its first dedicated spa concept at Regent Bali Canggu in October this year, following the hotel’s launch earlier in 2025.
Future plans include opening properties in Jeddah and Kuala Lumpur in 2026 with further projects announced for Kyoto, Shenzhen, Chengdu and other destinations.
Founded in 1970 and acquired by IHG in 2018, Regent has reopened several landmark properties in recent years. These include the Carlton Cannes and Regent Hong Kong in 2023, and Regent Shanghai on the Bund in early 2025.
In October 2024, Regent Santa Monica Beach also marked the brand’s return to the Americas.
Highlights:
• Regent Hotels‘ portfolio now counts 11 hotels and resorts worldwide.
• The first Regent Spa will open in October 2025 at Regent Bali Canggu.
