The Seaport Hotel in Boston, managed by CoralTree Hospitality, has announced the appointment of Todd Gagnon as its new general manager.
With more than two decades of leadership experience, Gagnon most recently served as resort manager at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club in Brewster, Mass., where he led a team of more than 600 associates and achieved Forbes Travel Guide recognition. His previous leadership roles include general manager and operations positions at Omni Hotels in Tempe, Indianapolis, Houston and Providence.
“Todd’s deep understanding of luxury hospitality and his commitment to service excellence make him the ideal leader for the Seaport Hotel,” said Mike Everett, executive vice president of CoralTree Hospitality. “His experience in the Northeast and passion for creating memorable guest experiences align perfectly with our vision for the property.”
Gagnon has served on several tourism and hospitality boards, including the Tempe Tourism Office, the Hotel & Lodging Association of Houston and the West Houston Chamber of Commerce.
“I’m honored to join the Seaport Hotel and lead such a talented team in one of Boston’s most iconic destinations,” he said. “What drew me to this opportunity was Seaport’s storied history and CoralTree’s commitment to culture and community. Their philosophy of empowering properties to reflect the unique character of their surroundings aligns perfectly with my passion for creating immersive, locally inspired guest experiences. I look forward to building on Seaport’s legacy and delivering exceptional hospitality that truly captures the spirit of Boston.”
The Seaport Hotel opened in 1998 as the first hotel in Boston’s Seaport District. Its location provides access to the Logan Airport, the Menino Convention & Exhibition Center and cultural attractions like the Institute of Contemporary Art.
