Faraway Hotels, the boutique hospitality brand from Blue Flag Capital, Collared Martin Hospitality, and Bain Capital Real Estate, will open Faraway Sag Harbor in summer 2026. This marks the brand’s first Hamptons location and a natural extension of its coastal story following its hotels in Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.
The property will be created through the transformation of the historic Baron’s Cove, reimagined into a 67-room compound designed to feel collected over time. Guests will discover layered interiors, hidden gardens, sunlit patios, and a poolside retreat. At its heart will be Zagara, a new flagship restaurant inspired by Amalfi Coast living, designed to flow seamlessly from day to night.
The hotel will be operated by Collared Martin Hospitality, bringing thoughtful service and authentic connections to every guest experience.
