LOS ANGELES – Visionary hotelier and hospitality pioneer Jon Blanchard announces the launch of JB Hotel Group, a Los Angeles based, real estate development, investment, and asset management firm dedicated to creating exceptional destinations that blend luxury, comfort, and timeless design. Formerly known as BLVD Hospitality, JB Hotel Group builds on Blanchard’s acclaimed legacy of transforming culturally rich, often overlooked markets into globally recognized hospitality landmarks.

Blanchard has spent almost two decades redefining hospitality through iconic, design-forward projects that leave a lasting imprint. His portfolio includes more than $1 billion in transacted real estate and over 1,400 hotel keys developed to date. Now, with JB Hotel Group, Blanchard ushers in a bold new chapter – focused on independent luxury and lifestyle hotels that reflect his vision, the cultural surroundings of each unique hotel and deliver an elevated guest experience.

JB Hotel Group has already made an indelible impact on the hospitality landscape. In Downtown Los Angeles, the firm was instrumental in the neighborhood’s revitalization with landmark projects including the Ace Hotel (a transformative adaptive reuse of the historic United Artists Building), The Hoxton, Soho Warehouse, and the city’s first modular high-rise hotel for citizenM. Beyond Downtown LA. Blanchard marked a new chapter in his career with The Georgian, by creating his first independent hotel, cementing his role as both developer and steward of this iconic property.

After 16 years in the hospitality business, my dream has always been to focus on creating my own independent hotels – projects where every detail is intentional, rooted in place, and built for lasting impact, shares Blanchard. JB Hotel Group represents that next chapter: a studio-like model where we can grow our own luxury and lifestyle portfolio, while still collaborating on special branded projects.

Debuting in early 2027, a new 125-key ground-up property will rise in Anaheim, just steps from the Disneyland Resort. Designed to reimagine the modern family-friendly stay, the hotel will blend playful energy with refined elegance, capturing the spirit of this next chapter in hospitality. Led by a spirit of genuine hospitality, the company blends thoughtful design with seamless operations to craft environments that are both timeless and perfectly aligned with the modern traveler.

With a steadfast commitment to innovation, culture, genuine guest experiences and strong investment returns, JB Hotel Group is poised to shape the future of independent hospitality. Guided by Jon Blanchard’s visionary leadership and a passion for creating meaningful places, the company continues to elevate the art of hotel development – crafting destinations where luxury meets authenticity and every stay tells a unique story.
