Mews Systems Ltd

[East Sussex, 8 October 2025] – Crafted, a new lifestyle hotel and club brand, has selected the leading operating system for hospitality, Mews, to power Powdermills – its flagship property. By integrating Mews across reservations, F&B, and creative spaces, Crafted is delivering a guest experience that’s both seamless and deeply personal.

Set in a Georgian country house in the heart of Sussex, Powdermills offers 55 rooms and suites alongside a pub, restaurant, cocktail bar, craft barn, art studio, members club, and outdoor pool. Workshops, cultural programs, and onsite growing plots complement the property’s nature-first ethos, while Mews ensures that every touchpoint – from booking to check-out – is smooth and effortless for both guests and staff.

“We want everything to be easy – for our guests and for our team,” said Chris King, Founder of Crafted. “I’ve already found my way around Mews and we’re not even live yet. The intuitive platform gives us flexibility and integrates effortlessly with our systems, helping us deliver a modern, seamless experience from booking to check out.”

By connecting solutions like Lightspeed POS and Event Temple, Mews enables Crafted’s team to minimize manual work while maintaining a personalized experience across every venue, from guest rooms and restaurants to creative and member areas.

“Crafted at Powdermills is reimagining what hospitality in nature can be,” added Matt Welle, CEO of Mews. “We’re proud to support a brand that prioritizes wellness, creativity, and connection, using technology to make every guest journey effortless.”

The opening of Powdermills marks the first step in Crafted’s ambitious expansion plans, with more properties set to follow across the UK and beyond. Each location will be unique to its setting but united by a shared ethos: nature-first, creatively charged, and powered by technology that puts people at the heart of hospitality.
