The Fordham School of Professional and Continuing Studies has launched a new hospitality program to prepare students for leadership roles in hospitality management, asset management and entrepreneurship. The program is part of the Fordham Real Estate Institute (REI) and will feature a series of hospitality industry panels with prominent leaders to mark its launch.
The Hospitality Program includes a Master of Science in Hospitality degree, an advanced graduate certificate in Hotel Management, and an advanced graduate certificate in Hospitality Investment and Development. The program is designed to attract students who aim to advance to senior, executive, or entrepreneurial positions in the hospitality industry and gain knowledge of real estate and asset management.
“We’re proud to be at the forefront of equipping students with the hard and soft skills needed to succeed in the ever-evolving hospitality industry,” said Anthony R. Davidson, dean of Fordham’s School of Professional and Continuing Studies (PCS). “This aligns with the school’s overall mission, as a globally recognized innovator, to prepare future industry leaders no matter what their prior backgrounds or career paths might have been.”
The program will launch its “Business of Hospitality” series with an inaugural breakfast panel on November 4, 2025. The event, titled “Hotels 2.0: Authentic Intelligence,” will include participation from leaders at MCR Hotels, Highgate, Marriott and Colliers.
The Hospitality Program provides a pathway for students to gain the skills and industry insights required for leadership roles in hospitality. Through the combination of degree programs, advanced certificates, and industry panels, Fordham aims to equip students for success across management, development, and entrepreneurial functions within the sector.
