PoB Hotels has added two new properties – Mar Hall Hotel Golf and Spa Resort near Glasgow and Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa in Wiltshire – to its portfolio of privately owned luxury hotels.
The additions extend PoB Hotels’ footprint into regions where it had not previously been represented. The group said the move highlights its “ongoing commitment to championing destinations defined by character, craftsmanship and outstanding hospitality”.
Mar Hall sits within 240 acres of woodland on the banks of the River Clyde. The Grade A-listed baronial mansion, designed by Sir Robert Smirke, recently underwent a £20m renovation led by the Kilpatrick Hills group.
Bishopstrow is a Georgian country house hotel blending contemporary comfort with traditional style. Owned by Ian Taylor of Kaleidoscope Hotels, the property features 36 individually designed rooms, a spa, and extensive grounds.
Founded in 1982, PoB Hotels represents more than 50 independent hotels across the UK and Channel Islands. Membership is granted selectively, with each property required to meet high standards of service and design while maintaining individuality and a sense of place.
Chief executive Kalindi Juneja said: “The addition of Mar Hall and Bishopstrow highlights the exciting momentum within PoB Hotels. Both properties have been carefully reimagined, offering guests experiences rooted in place yet elevated in every detail.”
