Sutton Hotel Collection has announced the appointment of John Swift as director of sales.

In his new role Swift will oversee sales performance across the portfolio which includes: The Athenaeum Hotel and Residences London, The Castle Hotel Windsor, and the Francis Hotel Bath.

Swift previously led sales for The Castle Hotel Windsor as well as the Francis Hotel Bath, and most recently led sales for Arora Group with responsibility for Fairmont Windsor Park, where he steered the hotel’s pre-opening commercial strategy and helped establish it as a leading five-star business destination.

He brings more than two decades of experience across midscale, upscale, and luxury hospitality, with a strong track record in revenue growth, market development, and high-value partnerships spanning MICE, corporate and luxury leisure segments.

Swift said: “I am thrilled to return to familiar territory and work across such distinctive hotels, from The Athenaeum in Mayfair to our landmark hotels in Windsor and Bath. With significant investment into the product, guest experience and developing the teams at the Francis Hotel and The Castle Hotel.

“Our focus is to leverage this momentum in strengthening our MICE and corporate engine, deepening luxury leisure partnerships, and amplifying our international presence so more guests and event planners experience the best of each hotel within the collection. I’m also very much looking forward to helping shape a programme of investments into The Athenaeum Hotel too.”
