Hilton has appointed Juan Gonzalez Izquierdo as general manager of the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal.

“We are pleased to welcome Juan Gonzalez Izquierdo as general manager of Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal,” said Valeria Nowotny, vice president of operations, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton. “With a deep appreciation for the resort’s history and a visionary approach to luxury hospitality, Juan is uniquely positioned to lead one of our most iconic resorts to its next era.”

Izquierdo’s career spans two decades of experience in luxury hospitality. Most recently, he was the general manager of Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead, where he oversaw the comprehensive renovation of public and private spaces. Previously, he served as hotel manager at Conrad New York Downtown.

Izquierdo has also held leadership roles as director of operations at luxury properties in New York, Barcelona and London. He began his career as a busboy in London and has since remained in the luxury hospitality industry.

“I am thrilled to be part of this exciting new chapter for Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, evolving the resort’s storied legacy and welcoming our guests back to a newly reimagined property that truly defines luxury,” he said. “Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is the very essence of what inspired my career in luxury hospitality. Through my leadership, I look forward to enhancing the guest experience and fostering a culture of excellence that celebrates the renovated Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal.”
