Hôtel Barrière Le Carl Gustaf St. Barth has appointed Enrique Glückmann as general manager. Glückmann brings more than 20 years of international hospitality experience and a background in luxury property management to his new role.
“I am delighted to join Le Carl Gustaf St. Barth, a property that feels both intimate and deeply rooted in the spirit of the island. What makes this place special is the understated elegance and ease it brings, and I’m excited to continue the tradition with a team that truly nurtures and prioritizes the guest experience,” he said.
Glückmann’s professional journey spans multiple continents and luxury brands, with leadership roles at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Grosnover House Dubai, Etihad Airways— the national airline of the UAE—, Hotel Arts in Barcelona, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel property, and at resorts in the Seychelles and Morocco. Notably, he played a key role in opening The Fairmont Taghazout Bay before serving as hotel manager for Cheval Blanc Randheli and Cheval Blanc Seychelles under the LVMH Hotel Group.
Set above the harbor town of Gustavia, Saint Barthélemy, Hôtel Barrière Le Carl Gustaf was originally opened in the 1980s and redesigned in 2020 by Gilles & Boissier. The hotel blends colonial architecture with a modern style and offers 21 suites, along with a five-bedroom villa.
