UK specialist launches cruising

On the Beach (OtB), the UK’s leading beach holiday specialist, has added cruising holidays to its mix, offering customers even more choice and value when booking their next getaway.

The move marks a strategic expansion for OtB, which has built its reputation on delivering great-value beach holidays, and more recently city breaks, with transparency and simplicity. 

The addition of cruise allows the business to serve customers looking for a different type of holiday experience while maintaining the same customer-first approach.

OtB will launch initially with cruise-only deals from three leading cruise lines: Celebrity Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean, with plans to rapidly expand the offering to include deals from additional cruise lines and full cruise packages in the coming months.

Si Morris-Green will lead the new cruise offer for OtB, bringing extensive cruise industry experience with established cruise brands – Planet Cruise, The Cruise Club and Fusion Cruises.

Jon Wormald, On the Beach Chief Financial Officer said of the move: “We are very excited to launch our cruise offer. As a business, we’re always listening to what our customers want, and cruise represents a natural evolution of our offering. 

“There is no doubt that Si’s expertise and understanding of both the cruise market and OtB’s culture make him the perfect candidate to lead this expansion as we continue to give customers more ways to find their perfect holiday.”
