The 129-room Fairfield by Marriott in Charleston, SC opened today with a new décor that provides guests with a feeling of warmth and calm while traveling. Located at 144 Bee St in downtown Charleston, the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Charleston will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by H.House based in Charlotte, NC.
The management team at the property is led by General Manager Tiffany Manning, who has over 25 years of hospitality management experience. Tiffany has spent the last 2 years at a highly successful focus-driven property taking on multiple projects including a complete renovation.
The Fairfield Inn & Suites Charleston Downtown offers guests convenient access to MUSC (Medical University of South Carolina), VA Hospital and the Citadel as well as being only a few blocks from Historic Downtown. The downtown trolley (DASH) has a stop in front of the hotel for guests’ convenience.
The new guestroom design is impactful, unique, and addresses the functional needs of the Fairfield guest for a seamless experience. The room was designed with the modern traveler’s needs to stay productive on the road in mind without overcomplicating the guestroom. Each room features a modern lounge chair, serving as both functional and comfortable to either work or relax in. The guestrooms also feature an ergonomic workstation, refrigerator, coffeemaker and microwave.
Additional hotel amenities include a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as fax and copy services.
