Noble Investment Group has announced the opening of the Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown Little Italy following a comprehensive repositioning of the property. The 334-room hotel is located in San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood and includes renovated guestrooms and suites, public areas, food and beverage concepts, and more than 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
The hotel features a Skydeck pool and sunset terrace overlooking the marina, a health and fitness center, and Orexi, a restaurant serving Mediterranean Californian cuisine. The property reflects a modern coastal design and upgraded amenities for guests.
Little Italy provides walkable access to dining, cultural landmarks, the waterfront and key attractions, drawing both business and leisure travelers. San Diego’s hospitality sector benefits from multiple demand sources, including conventions and tourism, a military and defense presence, higher education and healthcare institutions, and an innovation economy focused on technology, life sciences and biotech. These factors contribute to consistent performance and long-term value.
“San Diego remains one of the most attractive and resilient hospitality markets in the country,” said Ben Brunt, chief investment officer of Noble. “By transforming this property into an institutional-quality hotel within one of the city’s highest-demand neighborhoods, we have strengthened its long-term competitive position. This investment reflects Noble’s disciplined strategy of aligning with trusted brands, executing with operational excellence, and selecting markets where we can generate durable cash flow and enduring value for our investors and partners.”
The Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown Little Italy represents Noble’s investment in a key urban neighborhood, supporting both business and leisure travel while providing meeting and event facilities for local and visiting clients.
