Glasgow’s historic Wellington House opens its doors on 8th December 2025 as The Wellington Glasgow by Adina, marking TFE Hotels’ continued UK expansion with their flagship Adina brand. This will be the second apartment-style hotel opening within a month and follows the 56-key The Hobson Cambridge by Adina, due to open at the end of November. The Australian-based hotel group has a growing presence across continental Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia, with Cambridge and Glasgow providing a launchpad into the UK for the very first time.

The Wellington Glasgow by Adina introduces the brand’s casual living apartment-style concept to Scotland. An historic 19th-century listed building on Wellington Street – with its striking façade and period features – has been transformed into a design-led aparthotel that celebrates Glasgow’s rich architectural and cultural heritage whilst creating modern spaces for business and leisure travellers alike.

The Wellington Glasgow by Adina features 98 design forward apartments, including Studio Rooms, Studio Premier Rooms, and Studio Premier Rooms with sofa beds. Each offers open-plan living and sleeping areas, stylish kitchenettes, integrated dining spaces, and contemporary touches such as in-room steamers and coffee machines. The apartments are designed to cater to both short stays and extended visits, offering liveable spaces.

Guests also have access to a gym, laundry facilities, and a versatile meeting room suitable for events and conferences. The lobby shop and café bar adjacent to the hotel’s reception offers grab-and-go breakfast options during the day and a relaxed drinks experience in the evening.

Located just off George Square, The Wellington Glasgow by Adina is within walking distance of Glasgow Central Station, the iconic Buchanan Street Style Mile, and cultural landmarks including the Buchanan Galleries Mall. Glasgow Airport is eight miles away, with a 24-hour Airport Shuttle Bus (No. 500) departing from nearby Buchanan Bus Station, providing a convenient 15-minute connection.

The Wellington Glasgow by Adina opens on 8 December 2025, with reservations now open. Room rates start at £99 per night as an opening offer*. Post-opening period room rates begin from £140 per night.
