WINNER: Tivoli Kôpke Porto Gaia – The Alchemist of Time (Portugal)
On 29 May 2025, Tivoli Kôpke Porto Gaia celebrated its grand opening with The Alchemist of Time, an immersive journey paying tribute to Kopke, the world’s oldest Port wine house. Held across the hotel’s terraced estate overlooking the Douro River, the event brought together 400 guests, 150 local artists, and live performances blending dance, music, and light. The evening concluded with a concert by fado singer Cuca Roseta and a toast with Kopke’s signature vintage. Created in partnership with Griffin Events, the celebration reflected Portuguese creativity, heritage, and the timeless elegance of Tivoli hospitality.
FINALIST: Dolce by Wyndham Versailles – Domaine du Montcel (France)
On 26 September 2024, Dolce by Wyndham Versailles celebrated its grand opening after a five-year restoration of the historic Domaine du Montcel in Jouy-en-Josas. The evening gathered 350 guests, including local officials, architects, artists, and partners, to honour the estate’s artistic and cultural legacy. Immersive performances retraced its storied past, from the Oberkampf era to the Fondation Cartier, while guests explored the hotel’s château, Baccarat ballroom, and Sothys spa. Culinary creations by chefs Benoist Rambaud and César Chavepeyer highlighted the celebration. The event marked a new chapter for the Left Bank’s luxury hospitality, blending heritage, creativity, and contemporary French elegance.
