Prize by Radisson has opened a 172-room hotel in central Osnabrück, the first property to feature the brand’s refreshed design approach aimed at creating warmer and more tactile interiors.
Located on Johannisstrasse between the Neumarkt district and the Old Town, the hotel gives guests a walkable base close to cafés, boutiques, the Museum Quarter and the city’s main station.

The property is the first to showcase the updated design language for Prize by Radisson. The group says the concept introduces softer colours, natural textures and lighting intended to create a calm, intuitive atmosphere. Social areas have been redesigned to allow quick check-ins, coworking and informal dining.
Rooms include options for families of up to two adults and three children. Features include walk-in rain showers, connected televisions and wireless charging by the bed.
The hotel has DGNB Gold certification and aligns with EU Taxonomy standards. Radisson Hotel Group says the property operates largely without paper and uses measures intended to reduce waste and energy use.
Osnabrück, known for its role in the Peace of Westphalia, combines medieval architecture with a university community and cultural venues. The city’s parks and cycling routes offer outdoor options within walking distance of the hotel.
Yilmaz Yildirimlar, chief operating officer managed hotels Europe at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “Osnabrück is a city with character, history and a growing cultural pulse, and we wanted the hotel to reflect that.
“This is a meaningful step forward for the brand and a strong addition to our presence in Germany.”
