Club Med has announced the development of Club Med Tremblant, expanding the brand’s presence in Canada and marking its second resort in the country after the 2021 opening of Club Med Québec Charlevoix. Slated to open in 2028, the project is planned for Mont-Tremblant in Québec, a destination recognized for year-round activities and established village life.
The development is the result of a collaboration between Alderan, Station Mont-Tremblant and Club Med. The agreement includes a long-term lease that designates Club Med as the operator of the future resort and also outlines a construction contract appointing the company as Delegated Project Manager, giving it responsibility for design, planning and execution.
“Canada continues to be a key market in our North American growth strategy,” said Carolyne Doyon, president and CEO, North America and the Caribbean, Club Med. “With the upcoming opening of Club Med Tremblant, we are thrilled to introduce a new destination offering an original premium all-inclusive mountain experience—providing immersive, one-of-a-kind vacations that have defined Club Med for decades.”
Club Med Tremblant will be located in the Laurentians, an area known as a four-season destination with access to skiing and a village environment. The resort will draw inspiration from a contemporary Alpine Chalet and is planned as a premium all-inclusive property designed for families and active travelers. The resort plan includes ski-in and ski-out access with daily lift tickets included, dining inspired by Alpine heritage, Kids Clubs for ages four months to seventeen years, summer activities such as hiking and water activities and a spa offering wellness experiences. The resort will also include a team of GOs.
Club Med has coordinated with the city of Mont-Tremblant to ensure the project aligns with environmental and cultural considerations. The development is intended to support the region’s tourism industry. The company plans to pursue LEED certification and Green Globe operational certification, applying sustainability standards from design through long-term management, aligning with Club Med’s Be Happy commitments.
Station Mont-Tremblant is expected to play a central role in the ski experience at the resort. In November 2025, Club Med and Station Mont-Tremblant formalized a partnership focused on ski school programs. The agreement will provide guests access to instructors and lessons for various ages and skill levels. Station Mont-Tremblant has also committed to upgrades across the mountain intended to improve conditions and amenities.
The opening of Club Med Tremblant will support the company’s goal of expanding its presence in North America.
