Worldwide: Lifestyle luxury brand Viceroy has expanded its leadership team with four executive hires following the appointment of Arash Azarbarzin as CEO last week.
Patrick Pahlke joins the company as chief commercial officer from Sage Hospitality Group, where he held the same role. Prior to this, Pahlke’s career has spanned roles with Hyatt International, Two Roads Hospitality, and Proper Hospitality.
David Solis has been named VP global luxury and leisure sales at Viceroy. Most recently, he served as an executive at Ultimate Jet Vacations, and has worked with brands including Four Seasons, Virtuoso, EDITION Hotels, among others.
Megan Mulholland joins Viceroy from THE WELL as SVP brand marketing and wellness. In her new role, Mulholland will oversee Viceroy’s marketing, creative direction, partnerships, and wellness initiatives worldwide.
Shel Buhler brings nearly two decades of experience to her role as VP food and beverage at Viceroy. Before joining Viceroy, she served as head of brand strategy and communications for Aparium Hotels, with earlier roles at Thompson Hotels, Joie de Vivre, Destination Hotels, and Alila.
The leadership additions closely follow the appointment of Azarbarzin as CEO of Viceroy Hotels & Resorts. In his dual role (also principal at Highgate), Azarbarzin will oversee forthcoming projects across the United States, Africa, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
Highgate announced plans to acquire Viceroy in 2022.
