Hilton has announced an agreement for two new properties in Amsterdam: the first Home2 Suites by Hilton in the Netherlands and the first Hilton Garden Inn in the city. The 284-room hotels will open in 2027 and will be located in Aalsmeer, close to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
Home2 Suites by Hilton, renowned for its extended stays, will make its debut in the Netherlands with 128 rooms. The suites will feature fully equipped kitchens, community spaces, and amenities designed for the needs of guests and their pets. The hotel will also offer a complimentary hot breakfast, a fitness center, a laundry area, and a multifunctional space for relaxation or work.
The Hilton Garden Inn will offer 156 rooms and will be the first property of the brand to open in the Amsterdam metropolitan area. It will feature social spaces, meeting rooms, a restaurant serving à la carte meals, and a bar. The hotel will also include a 24/7 self-service area, “The Shop,” offering snacks, local products, and essential items.
Both hotels will participate in the Hilton Honors loyalty program.
“This dual signing is an exciting moment for us. Not only does it mark a brand debut for Home2 Suites by Hilton in the Netherlands, it also marks our first Hilton Garden Inn in Amsterdam. These developments further strengthen our expansive portfolio of hotels at airports across the globe, as well as our offering to those visiting the financial and business capital of the Netherlands.” – Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, EMEA, Hilton
“We’re delighted to be working with Hilton to bring two new properties to the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, including a new Hilton Garden Inn and the brand debut for Home2 Suites by Hilton. We’ve recently acquired all the surrounding plots to ensure we can transform the entire area into a vibrant, forward-looking business ecosystem in one of Europe’s most dynamic markets.
