
Global Fintech Revolut and low-cost carrier Wizz Air have announced a payments partnerships to bring one-click checkouts to more than 60 million of Revolut’s customers.
The new agreement will see 10 million of Revolut’s UK customers have have access to booking flights with Wizz Air without the need to input their payment details.
Customers can now purchase their flight in a matter of seconds, approving the payment securely via their Revolut app, protected by passcode or biometric identification.
Revolut Pay is available at check out on the Wizz Air app first and will be rolled out to the website in the coming months.
As part of the partnership, all new Revolut users will be able to earn up to £25 back after they sign up and spend their first £5 with Revolut until July 4.
Revolut Pay customers are also able to earn RevPoints – Revolut’s loyalty programme – and redeem on Revolut Pay purchases or Wizz Air flights, under RevPoints terms and conditions.
For the next month, customers who pay for Wizz Air flights using Revolut Pay can earn 10x more RevPoints on their purchases, again under RevPoints terms and conditions.
Last year, Wizz Air expanded its payment options on board to accept payments with Revolut cards.
