USA, Arlington, Virginia.
March 25, 2025

The National Landing Hotel Crystal City has announced a new name to ring in its next chapter following a transformative total property renovation and rebranding slated to be complete as of May 2025. The 347-room hotel will unveil refurbishments to its exterior, guest rooms and all public spaces, including opening a sophisticated restaurant and lounge, as part of its progression and rebrand. Formerly Marriott Crystal City at Reagan National Airport, The National Landing Hotel will join another brand within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, to be announced following a multi-million-dollar renovation in advance of the heightened summer travel season.

“We are thrilled to be part of the reinvigorating development in Crystal City and Arlington, and modernize our hotel to exceed the standards of the discerning guest,” said Ben Joseph, General Manager. “The National Landing Hotel is setting the foundation for a new legacy, one we are extremely proud of, and we look forward to all that is to come.”

The hotel will continue operations during the phased renovation, while protecting the integrity of the guest experience.

Once complete, the design-forward hotel interiors will transcend the conventions of travel to create localized experiences that strike the perfect balance of details that guests want and the services they need, delivering style and intention in the cultural hub of Arlington. Designed to be a social and business hub for travelers and locals alike, guests will enjoy purposeful, tailored, and elevated style complimenting aesthetically proportioned spaces designed to foster collaboration. Interiors will offer clean modern lines and a balanced use of premium materials punctuated with locally sourced art and timeless, modern touches that evoke the feeling of a well-curated gallery. Free of traditional hotel room distractions, guest rooms will thoughtfully maximize a sense of openness with plenty of free surfaces to store luggage or pull up a chair and work efficiently. The hotel’s color palette has been selected based on regional colors reflecting Arlington’s proud American heritage, lush landscapes and proximity to the Nation’s Capital.

An innovative beverage and food program will blend European-inspired cuisine with the freshest flavors of the region, serving breakfast and dinner each day. Housed within a sophisticated day-to-night restaurant and lounge, guests will be able to take in the spectacular scenery of the area while enjoying expertly crafted cocktails, local craft beers and wines, and a concise food menu inspired by the tapas of Spain. Additional amenities include a 24/7 state-of-the-art fitness center.

Business and leisure groups can take advantage of the 8,500 square feet of sophisticated event spaces with breakout areas and A/V tech support.

National Landing’s charming shops, elevated dining, including a brand new National Landing Water Park Food Hall, and local happenings are all within walking distance from the hotel. With its connection to the Crystal City Metro and proximity to Washington D.C., Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Amazon’s HQ2, Virginia Tech’s Innovation Campus, and easy access to I-395, National Landing Hotel’s prime location grants access to the area’s top tourism and business attractions. Whether taking the Metro to the National Mall, visiting Old Town Alexandria, or enjoying Metropolitan Park, adventure awaits at The National Landing Hotel.
