Award-winning Indian restaurant Kahani London has partnered with the newly refurbished Cheval Phoenix House to unveil a limited-edition experience blending fine Indian cuisine and five-star Chelsea living.

Located off Sloane Square, Kahani—meaning “story” in Hindi—is the creation of Chef Patron Peter Joseph, former Head Chef at the Michelin-starred Tamarind in Mayfair. Known for his elegant, modern take on Indian cuisine, Joseph blends seasonal British ingredients with authentic Indian spices and techniques to craft a bold, contemporary menu rooted in tradition.

The restaurant’s elegant main floor accommodates up to 90 guests, with an intimate private dining room, The Peacock Room, ideal for special occasions or corporate dinners.Kahani’s interiors are luxe and mood-lit, providing an inviting and high-end setting that encourages guests to dine together and share dishes, reflecting the warmth and communal spirit of Indian hospitality.

Just next door, Cheval Phoenix House, part of the prestigious Cheval Collection, has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment. The luxury all-apartment residence offers stylish, contemporary one and two bedroom apartments with open-plan living, fully equipped kitchens, complimentary Wi-Fi, plush linens, and thoughtful touches such as Nespresso machines and a curated welcome hamper.

“This collaboration allows us to extend Kahani’s story beyond the table and into a full lifestyle experience,” said Peter Joseph, Chef Patron of Kahani. “Cheval Phoenix House is a natural partner—just next door and equally committed to elegance, comfort, and excellence.”

“At Cheval Phoenix House, we’ve listened to what our guests are telling us — they want more than just a stay; they’re looking for something special,” said Ben Pires, General Manager. “Our new ‘Luxury Stay & Dine’ package with Kahani brings together the comfort of luxury accommodation and the excitement of fine dining, creating a memorable experience that reflects what today’s travellers are really looking for.”
