
InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel has appointed Antoine Serhan as hotel manager.
With extensive international experience across North America, the Middle East, and Asia, Serhan arrives at The Barclay after serving as cluster hotels manager at InterContinental and Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City (UAE), overseeing two properties and a team of 500+ colleagues, including five Division Heads. In this role, he managed day-to-day core operations, stepped in as acting general manager and led efforts to optimize financial performance, reduce costs, grow revenue and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
Serhan’s past experience in New York City includes leadership roles as director of front office at Millennium Broadway Hotel and front office manager at the New York Palace Hotel. “It is a true privilege to return to Manhattan, a city renowned for its unparalleled energy and genuine hospitality. I am honored to join such an esteemed property and contribute to the continued success of The Barclay,” he said.
Serhan has also held positions at Shangri-La, Jumeirah and Address Hotels & Resorts across Asia and the Middle East.

Owned by Street Holdings, LLC and managed by IHG, The Barclay was built in 1926 and recently completed an extensive renovation.
