Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has signed a long-term agreement with Abu Dhabi-based Eagle Hills to open a new Bvlgari Resort & Mansions on a private island in Abu Dhabi with a scheduled opening in 2030.
The resort will include 60 guestrooms and suites, 30 villas, and 90 mansions of varying sizes. The development is located on a horseshoe-shaped island and will feature views of the sea, the city skyline, and Qasr Al Watan.
“With Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Abu Dhabi, we continue our jeweller of hospitality’s magnificent journey of bringing Bvlgari’s distinctive elegance and craftsmanship to the world’s most remarkable destinations. This project is a tribute to Abu Dhabi’s unique cultural identity, blending timeless sophistication with modern luxury. This project will set a new milestone in Haute Hospitality and I’m particularly happy to develop it with our long-standing Retail Partner and friend Mohamed Alabbar always striving for the highest standards,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari.
“Abu Dhabi has always stood for vision and grace. This partnership with Bvlgari reaffirms our commitment to placing the Emirate at the epicenter of luxury living — where exceptional design, exclusivity, and Arabian soul converge,” said Mohamed Alabbar, founder and chairman of Eagle Hills.
The 1,200-square-meter Bvlgari Villa will include five bedrooms, a private park, a 20-meter pool and direct beach access. The resort’s main building will include two Bvlgari Suites, a Bvlgari Penthouse and a range of dining and wellness amenities.

Dining options will include Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, Hōseki, a Turkish restaurant, La Spiaggia and Bvlgari Bar. Other venues include Il Caffè, Bvlgari Dolci, and La Galleria. A Bvlgari Spa will offer 2,000 square meters of wellness facilities, including a 25-meter lap pool, a 1,000-square-meter fitness center and outdoor areas with sea views.
The resort will also feature a Yacht Club with a 40-berth marina, private beach and event spaces. A ballroom for events and banquets will be situated on the city-facing side of the property.
Residences will include 90 mansions ranging from 1,650 to 2,500 square meters. Eight estates will include private beaches. Some mansions will have private docks for boats up to 25 meters long, while others will face the island’s inner cove.
“The project captures the best aspects of its location—secluded and immersed in nature and the sea—while remaining within easy reach of central Abu Dhabi. Life on the island is enriched by a diverse landscape, carefully designed environments, and sweeping views of both the sea and the city. The Bulgari Resort & Mansions offers a thoughtfully curated setting that fosters a strong sense of place. The interplay of architecture, natural surroundings, and exceptional amenities creates a distinctive and refined living environment,” said Patricia Viel, CEO of ACPV ARCHITECTS the architectural firm responsible for the design of Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Abu Dhabi.
Landscape design will be led by Milan-based LAND SRL. The firm will create a setting with dunes, gardens and natural forms to reflect both Italian and Arabian design influences.
Eagle Hills is the owner of the project. The company has developments in more than 18 countries, including Downtown Dubai, Belgrade Waterfront and Maryam Island.
